Foot & Ankle Surgery

	Ankle Arthroscopy
	Arthroscopy literally means looking into a joint with a scope. Arthroscopy of the ankle is usually done after an injury which is failing to heal and where there is evidence of damage to the ligaments, lining, or surfaces of the ankle.
	Ankle Fusion

	Bunionectomy
	This operation is performed through a small incision on the side of the foot immediately over the area of the bunion. Once the skin is opened the bump is removed using a special surgical saw or chisel. The bone is smoothed and the skin incision is closed with small stitches.

Conditions of Toes and Nails

	Hammer Toe Correction
	This operation is performed to correct toes that have malformed due to congenital or arthritic conditions.

	Neuroma Excision
	Neuromas are tissue cysts that cause pressure and pain and often need surgical removal.
